Microphillipsia tetraptera
Taxonomy
Microphillipsia tetraptera was named by Ruggieri (1959). Its type specimen is MGP P/50051, a cephalon/head, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pietra di Salomone, Sosio (Ruggieri coll), which is in a Wordian carbonate grainstone in Italy. It is the type species of Microphillipsia.
