Taxonomy
Diplopora permica was named by Korde (1965). Its type specimen is PIN 2307/13 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chanakhchi, Dzhulfian Stage, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Julfa Formation of Armenia.
