Taxonomy
Mosquoceras huecoense was named by Ruzhentsev and Shimanskiy (1954). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM712, Orogrande, which is in an Artinskian shallow subtidal limestone in the Hueco Formation of New Mexico.
