Taxonomy
Rhiphaeoceras humile was named by Ruzhentsev and Shimanskiy (1954). Its type specimen is PIN 626/107 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sholak-Say River, Aktobe Region, which is in a Sakmarian marine sandstone in Kazakhstan.
