Apogonoceras remotum

Taxonomy
Apogonoceras remotum was named by Ruzhentsev and Shimanskiy (1954). Its type specimen is PIN 442/196 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Aktasty River, eastern limestone ridge, Aktastinian, Aktyubinsk Region, which is in an Artinskian marine limestone in Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Apogonoceras.
