Brachythyrinella hesdoensis

Taxonomy
Spirifer hesdoensis was named by Sahni and Dutt (1959). Its type specimen is GSI 18010 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Manendragarh, which is in an Asselian coastal shale/conglomerate in the Talchir Formation of India.

It was recombined as Brachythyrinella hesdoensis by Cisterna and Archbold (2007).
