Taxonomy
Fistulipora satoi was named by Sakagami (1966). Its type specimen is WKM-7-01 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ko Muk WKM-7, which is in a Roadian carbonate limestone in the Rat Buri Formation of Thailand.
