Taxonomy
Fenestrellina dispersa was named by Crockford (1943). Its type specimen is Sydney Univ 3404 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Warden Head, Ulladulla, which is in a Roadian prodelta siltstone in the Wandrawandian Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Fenestella dispersa by Wass (1968) and Sakagami (1968).
