Taxonomy
Fistulipora multidiaphragma was named by Sakagami (1995). Its type specimen is DESC-95047 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yaurichambi-A Section, Sample Ya34, which is in an Asselian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Copacabana Formation of Bolivia.
