Surcaudalus rostratus
Taxonomy
Surcaudalus rostratus was named by Leu (1989). Its type specimen is QMF 14470A/B, a skeleton, and it is a compression preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Clinker Hill, Blackwater coal mine (Leu coll.), which is in a Changhsingian lacustrine shale in the Rangal Coal Measures Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Surcaudalus.
