Taxonomy
Ditomopyge dereimsi was named by Arellano (1983). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yaurichambi (Bolivian-Japanese collection), which is in an Asselian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Copacabana Formation of Bolivia.
