Longileptolepis wiedenrothi

Taxonomy
Paraleptolepis wiedenrothi was named by Arratia and Thies (2001). Its type specimen is MB. f.7612 and is a compression preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Salzgitter-Haverlahwiese, Braunschweig, which is in a Falciferum offshore marl in the Posidoniaschiefer Formation of Germany.

It was recombined as Longileptolepis wiedenrothi by Arratia (2003).
