Taxonomy
Permegalomus regularis was named by Martynov (1931). Its type specimen is PIN 2295/25, a forewing (apical fragment), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Tikhie Gory (PIN collection 2295), which is in a Roadian lagoonal claystone in the Baitugan Formation of the Russian Federation.
