Taxonomy
Disjectopora alpina was named by Senowbari-Daryan (2009). It is not extant. Its type locality is Gosaukamm, Austria, which is in a Norian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone/limestone in the Dachstein Formation of Austria.
It was recombined as Carterina alpina by Senowbari-Daryan et al. (2015).
