Lapeyria magnifica

Taxonomy
Lapeyria magnifica was named by Nel et al. (1999). Its type specimen is Ld LAP 316, an exoskeleton (complete specimen with four wings in contact with body), and it is an impression. Its type locality is F23, Les Canals, Lodève Basin, which is in a Kungurian pond claystone/siltstone in the Salagou Formation of France. It is the type species of Lapeyria.
