Taxonomy
Mesageta pertrita was named by Novokshonov (1997). Its type specimen is PIN 2555/1927, a forewing (moderately preserved forewing), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Madygen, PIN collection 2555, Dzhailoucho area, which is in a Ladinian lacustrine - small siliciclastic in the Madygen Formation of Kyrgyzstan.
