Taxonomy
Euomphalus calyx was named by Phillips (1836). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Straparollus calyx by Sedgwick and M'Coy (1855); it was recombined as Schizostoma calyx by de Koninck (1881); it was recombined as Straparollus (Euomphalus) calyx by Hudson et al. (1966).
