Croatocordulia platyptera
Taxonomy
Libellula platyptera was named by Charpentier (1843). It is an impression. Its type locality is Radoboj (Grätz Collection), which is in a Sarmatian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in Croatia.
It was recombined as Cordulia platyptera by Heer (1849), Hagen (1850) and Kirby (1890); it was recombined as Croatocordulia platyptera by Kiauta (1969) and Nel and Paicheler (1994).
