Osmythone neoxenus

Taxonomy
Permithone neoxenus was named by Riek (1953). Its type specimen is AM F40271, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Warner's Bay, Belmont (AMF coll), which is in a Changhsingian pond chert in the Croudace Bay Formation of Australia.

It was recombined as Osmythone neoxenus by Ponomarenko and Shcherbakov (2004) and Prokop et al. (2015).
