Camponotus lignitus

Taxonomy
Formica lignitum was named by Germar (1837). It is an impression. Its type locality is Orsberg (Goldfuss Bonn collection), which is in a MP 30 lacustrine - large shale in the Rott Formation of Germany.

It was recombined as Camponotus lignitum by Pongrácz (1931); it was recombined as Camponotus lignitus by Mayr (1867) and Bolton (2012).
