Probascanion megacephalum
Taxonomy
Probascanion megacephalum was named by Handlirsch (1939). Its type specimen is NMW 1984/33/6, an exoskeleton (bug without antennae or legs), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Dobbertin, Mecklenburg (NHMW collection), which is in a Toarcian offshore claystone in Germany. It is the type species of Probascanion.
