Lasius longipennis
Taxonomy
Formica longipennis was named by Heer (1849). Its type specimen is UMJG&P 77.503, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Radoboj (Grätz Collection), which is in a Sarmatian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in Croatia.
It was recombined as Lasius longipennis by Mayr (1867), Bolton (2012) and Dlussky and Putyatina (2014).
