Prohemerobius aldertonensis

Prohemerobius aldertonensis was named by Whalley (1988). Its type specimen is NHM I 11304, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Alderton Hill (Brodie collection), which is in a Falciferum marine limestone in the Whitby Mudstone Formation of the United Kingdom.
