Metaraphidia confusa
Taxonomy
Metaraphidia confusa was named by Whalley (1985). Its type specimen is GSM 117552, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Charmouth (GSM), which is in a Sinemurian marine siliciclastic in the Charmouth Mudstone Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Metaraphidia.
It was recombined as Mesoraphidia confusa by Whalley (1988).
