Gesomyrmex bremii

Taxonomy
Myrmica bremii was named by Heer (1849). Its type specimen is UMJG&P 77.482, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Radoboj (Grätz Collection), which is in a Sarmatian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in Croatia.

It was considered a nomen dubium by Radchenko et al. (2007) and Bolton (2012); it was recombined as Gesomyrmex bremii by Dlussky and Putyatina (2014).
