Taxonomy
Spirifer kolymaensis was named by Tolmatschew (1912).

It was recombined as Pseudosyrinx kolymaensis by Kashirtsev (1959) and Ustritsky and Chernyak (1963); it was recombined as Tumarinia kolymaensis by Grigorjeva (1977) and Abramov and Grigorieva (1988); it was recombined as Labuella kolymaensis by Solomina (2001).
