Taxonomy
Parastylothalamia cylindrica was named by Senowbari-Daryan and Link (2011). It is not extant. Its type locality is Tavuk Cesme, Isparta, which is in a Lacian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Kasimlar Formation of Turkey. It is the type species of Parastylothalamia.
