Taxonomy
Cleiothyridina nikolaevi was named by Grunt (1977). Its type specimen is PIN 2840/420 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kolyma River, at Labuya Settlement, Sample 573, which is in a Wordian marine siliciclastic in the Omolon Formation of the Russian Federation.
