Taxonomy
Paravesicocaulis concentricus was named by Kovacs (1978). It is not extant. Its type locality is Alshóhegy plateau, Western Carpathians, Hungary, which is in a Ladinian/Tuvalian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Wetterstein reef limestone Formation of Hungary. It is the type species of Paravesicocaulis.
