Necymylacris lacoana
Taxonomy
Necymylacris lacoanum was named by Scudder (1879). Its type specimen is USNM38057, a tegmen, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Near Pittston, roof shales of Vein C, which is in a Westphalian D terrestrial shale in the Llewellyn Formation of Pennsylvania.
It was corrected as Necymylacris lacoana by Scudder (1895), Handlirsch (1906), Handlirsch (1920) and Handlirsch (1922).
