Taxonomy
Paragastrioceras burtiensis was named by Voinova (1934).

It was recombined as Uraloceras burtiensis by Nassichuk et al. (1965); it was recombined as Uraloceras burtiense by Ruzhentsev (1956), Leonova (2002) and Schiappa et al. (2005).
