Taxonomy
Protoclytiopsis antiqua was named by Birshtein (1958). It is a compression preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Ust-Yenissei borehole, which is in a Changhsingian marginal marine horizon in the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Protoclytiopsis.
