Taxonomy
Protoclytiopsis antiqua was named by Birshtein (1958). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ust-Yenisei borehole, which is in a Changhsingian deltaic mudstone in the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Protoclytiopsis.
It was recombined as Eryma antiquum by Devillez and Charbonnier (2017).
