Fusichonetes flatus
Taxonomy
Tethyochonetes flatus was named by Shen and Archbold (2002). Its type specimen is NIGP 132511, a valve (Ventral valve, external mold), and it is a mold. Its type locality is Xiaoyuanchong, Bed 13, Jiahe, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine mudstone in the Douling Formation of China.
It was recombined as Linshuichonetes flatus by Campi and Shi (2005); it was recombined as Fusichonetes flatus by Wu et al. (2017), Wu et al. (2019), He et al. (2019) and Wu et al. (2022).
