Taxonomy
Rhipidomella subcircularis was named by Shen and He (1994) [Probably at China University of Mining and Technology]. Its type specimen is GD-8161 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wenjiangsi Section, Changxing Fm, Guiding County, which is in a Changhsingian carbonate limestone in the Changxing Formation of China.
