Petrablattina wemmetsweilerensis
Taxonomy
Blattina wemmetsweileriensis was named by Goldenberg (1877). Its type specimen is Bergaschule Saarbrücken (Pl 1 fig 9), a tegmen (apical half), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Wemmetsweiler (Kliver coll), which is in a Stephanian fluvial-lacustrine shale/bituminous coal in the Lower Ottweiler Schichten Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Hermatoblattina wemmetsweileriensis by Scudder (1879) and Kliver (1883); it was recombined as Hermatoblattina wemmetsweilerensis by Handlirsch (1906), Waterlot (1934) and Guthörl (1936); it was recombined as Phyloblatta wemmetsweilerensis by Handlirsch (1920), Handlirsch (1922) and Guthörl (1934); it was recombined as Petrablattina wemmetsweilerensis by Durden (1969).
