It was recombined as Terebratula roissyi by de Verneuil (1845); it was recombined as Athyris roissyi by Meek (1877); it was recombined as Athyris royssii by Waagen (1883); it was recombined as Athyris (Spirigera) roissyi by Astre (1934); it was recombined as Cleiothyridina deroissyi by Cooper and Grant (1976); it was misspelled as Athyris roissyi by Salter (1865), Zhang and Jin (1976), Lee and Gu (1980) and Shen and Jin (1999).
