Nagatomukha karabas
Taxonomy
Nagatomukha karabas was named by Mostovski and Martínez-Delclòs (2000). Its type specimen is PIN 2066/2024, an exoskeleton (wings & fragments ob adominal segments & tarsus), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2066), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Nagatomukha.
