Iberomosca kakoeima
Taxonomy
Iberomosca kakoeima was named by Mostovski and Martínez-Delclòs (2000). Its type specimen is UB LC-34-EP, an exoskeleton (wing & body fragments), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is La Cabrua outcrop, Sierra del Montsec (GDGP collection), which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large lime mudstone in the la Pedrera de Rubies Formation of Spain. It is the type species of Iberomosca.
