Neopronorites permicus
Taxonomy
Parapronorites permicus was named by Tchernow (1907). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Usva River, below Navisshiy, which is in an Artinskian marine horizon in the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Neopronorites.
It was recombined as Neopronorites permicus by Ruzhentsev (1956), Sheng and Liu (1983), Leonova (2002) and Leonova (2023).
