Taxonomy
Mezenalicula conjuncta was named by Aristov and Storozhenko (2011). Its type specimen is PIN 3840/1243, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Isady Locality (Mutovino, PIN collection 3840), which is in a Wuchiapingian lacustrine siltstone in the Poldarsa Formation of the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Ivkinus conjunctus by Aristov (2014).
