Taxonomy
Permopsyche rasnitsyni was named by Bashkuev (2011). Its type specimen is PIN 3840/1351, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Isady Locality (Mutovino, PIN collection 3840), which is in a Wuchiapingian lacustrine siltstone in the Poldarsa Formation of the Russian Federation.
