Prolyda depressa

Taxonomy
Mesolyda depressa was named by Rasnitsyn (1969). Its type specimen is PIN 2784/1163, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2784), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan.

It was recombined as Prolyda depressa by Rasnitsyn (1983) and Taeger et al. (2010).
