Taxonomy
Anemonaria auriculata was named by Shi and Waterhouse (1996). Its type specimen is GSC 96932 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 53947, Section 116C-1, Tatonduk River, which is in an Artinskian marine horizon in the Jungle Creek Formation of Canada.
