Taxonomy
Composita bamberi was named by Shi and Waterhouse (1996). Its type specimen is GSC 97195 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 53703, Section 116H-1A, Peel River, which is in a Sakmarian carbonate dolomite in the Jungle Creek Formation of Canada.
