Taxonus vetustus

Taxonomy
Tenthredo vetusta was named by Heer (1849). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Oeningen (von Seyfried collection), which is in a Sarmatian crater lake limestone in the Upper Freshwater-Molasse Formation of Germany.

It was recombined as Taxonus vetustus by Konow (1897), Brues (1908) and Taeger et al. (2010).
