Permophricodothyris elegantula
Taxonomy
Reticularia elegantula was named by Waagen (1883). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Morah, reddish marble-like Middle Productus-limestone, Salt Range (Wynne coll), which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Wargal Formation of Pakistan.
It was recombined as Permophricodothyris elegantula by Shi et al. (2002); it was recombined as Squamularia elegantula by Huang (1933), Shimizu (1961), Liao (1980), Zeng et al. (1995) and Shen et al. (2002).
