Haplistion elongatum

Taxonomy
Haplistion elongatus was named by Siedlecka (1970). Its type specimen is PMO A33220 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Akseloya, Bellsund, which is in a Wuchiapingian offshore sandstone/mudstone in the Kapp Starostin Formation of Svalbard and Jan Mayen.

It was corrected as Haplistion elongatum by Hurcewicz (1982).
