Taxonomy
Ctenobactrites shindensis was named by Shimanskiy (1993). Its type specimen is PIN 3536/20 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kuru-Dzhilga River, Southeastern Pamir, which is in an Artinskian marine horizon in Tajikistan.
