Taxonomy
Juresanites originalis was named by Shkolin (1992). Its type specimen is PIN 4441/201 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Usolka River, Bed 16/5, Bashkiria, which is in an Asselian marine horizon in the Russian Federation.
