Lazarussuchus inexpectatus
Taxonomy
Lazarussuchus inexpectatus was named by Hecht (1992). Its type specimen is Claude Bernard University no Re 437, coll. Gennevaux 92813, a skeleton (almost complete postcranial skeleton and partial skull), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Armissam quarry, near Narbonne, which is in an Oligocene/Miocene terrestrial limestone in France. It is the type species of Lazarussuchus.
